First matches of the new season

The annual President v Captain match was played on Saturday 1st of May and limited to 24 players on the green. The Captain's side won with a score of 57 shots while the President's team scored 41 shots. The weather stayed fine and dry throughout. As usual President Trevor was on tea duty making and serving hot drinks for all the players.

On Sunday 2nd May Trevor and Rob organised a Bowls Drive with 24 members taking part playing triples. The winners were Di, Sergio and Gordon with a score + 9. In second place were Ian, Linda and Sean with a score of + 6. Again the weather was a bonus remaining dry and sunny through the afternoon.
